The hotel offers a unique historic experience, very cozy and charming with its antique furnishings and two-level rooms. The staff provided friendly service, but some amenities were lacking, such as the spa being closed during our stay. The location allowed for easy access to downtown, making it convenient for exploring. While the breakfast was decent, the overall condition of the property could use some updates to enhance guest satisfaction.

Rooms
7.0
Our room was quite spacious and uniquely set up over two levels, which added to its charm. However, it could benefit from better lighting and some repairs.
Service

The staff members were always friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated how helpful they were throughout our stay.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic for exploring downtown, with easy access to various restaurants and attractions.
Dining

Breakfast offered a good variety, with an option for made-to-order eggs, but it could have been more extensive.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities included a small pool and a cozy lounge area, but the advertised spa was unavailable during our visit.

While the hotel has a unique charm and cozy atmosphere, my experience wasn't without its hiccups. The customer service was great, and I appreciated the nice room upgrades, but the noise from traffic and pesky mosquitoes really detracted from my stay. The staff handled issues well, and the spa facilities looked promising, though I didn't use them. Overall, it was a decent stay with a touch of character but had some drawbacks.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious and had amenities like a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, but the traffic noise and no particularly good views next to the busy roads were distracting.
Service
9.0
The team was very accommodating with my requests, especially with the room upgrades and fixing issues during my stay. They seemed genuinely friendly and helpful.
Location

Situated just at the bottom of the main road leading into town, the location was great with access to cafes and restaurants, but its proximity to busy roads meant it was quite noisy.

Facilities

The facilities included a nice small pool, and I noticed they had spa services available every day, which could be relaxing, but I didn’t get a chance to try them.

6.0/10

My stay at the hotel was quite a mixed bag. The rooms, while spacious and reminiscent of a loft, felt dated and lacked some fundamental amenities like a safety deposit box. While I appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the surrounding area, the breakfast options were underwhelming, and I was disappointed with the restrictions on dining. Overall, it has potential, but adjustments are needed to truly enhance the guest experience.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms are spacious but felt dated and the bed was uncomfortable. There was no safety deposit box, which was surprising.
Service
7.0
The staff members were friendly and helpful, but I encountered some inconsistencies during my stay. A bit more follow-up from management would have been ideal.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location is convenient as it's near cafes and bars, but traffic noise was a constant issue, making it hard to relax.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was quite poor; I didn't realize that eggs and bacon didn't include toast, and I would have preferred a larger selection. Dinner options were also limited unless specified at check-in.
Facilities
6.0
While the amenities were decent, the air conditioning unit had issues and there were minor cleanliness problems with the bathroom.

My stay at this hotel was a mix of positive experiences and a few frustrations. The location is perfect for exploring nearby wineries and attractions. I was delighted with the spacious suite and the breakfast variety was impressive. However, the pre-check-in financial requests were bothersome, and I found the traffic noise from the busy road somewhat distracting. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but felt there could be improvements in communication and room comfort.

Rooms

The room was spacious and upgraded to a deluxe suite, but the noise from the road was noticeable.
